Since kindergarten, Chet has been singing in groups, duets and singing solo’s in a variety of venues.  Because music has been an important part of his life from a child, he has pursued not only singing, but also directing programs, choral directing, and leading congregations. 

He has served in full time music positions for the past 20 years in churches and schools providing leadership for many different types of programs.  Western music and Chet have been a comfortable fit since the forming of the Prairie Rose Rangers.  He not only loves the cowboy music, he enjoys the folks he meets each night at the Prairie Rose and counts each one he meets a friend.

Just reaching that grand old age of twenty, Tyler is one of eight children born to John and Christine Brickley. He picked up his first guitar when he was eight years old and began playing at his church with his older brother at age 12.

Developing his vocal skills as well as learning how to play several other instruments since then, Tyler considers himself to be proficient at piano, drums, and guitar.  Most of his musical experience has been in the church, but with the discovery of cowboy music and singing wth the Prairie Rose Rangers, he has grown to love the Cowboy way.

Being a long time fan of the old “singing cowboy” and the Christian family morals they represent, Kris Johnson found it easy to call the Prairie Rose home.  

Kris decided to get off the road after 10 years of touring with the southern Gospel Quartet Forgiven and the Calvary Echos.  He and his wife Jonell are raising their five children in Rose Hill, Kansas and being a life long Kansan, is proud of his Kansas” twang”. 

His good grasp of harmony,  unique vocal style and “Little Joe Cartright“ good looks  makes Kris a good fit for the Prairie Rose Rangers.

“The Chief”, Kristopher Harvey hails from Wichita Kansas where he and his wife Sarah have three children, Julia, Grace and Anthony.  This former U.S. Marine and tribal member of the Hidatsa Nation of North Dakota will keep you entertained as he moves through a vast array of instruments in one show. 

Inspired by Charlie Daniels at a young age, Chief’s fiddle playing, banjo pickin’, guitar strumming, bass thumping talents bring the Prairie Rose Opera House alive with the songs that are sure to delight the Cowboy in all of us.  Not only does he bring his musical talents and dry sense of humor to the Chuckwagon stage, he leads his church choir and participates in Native American Cultural activities with his family. 

His son Anthony follows Kris‘s footsteps rather closely.  Playing alongside his father on several occasions, Anthony has brought the crowds to their feet as well.

Everyone falls in love with the wonderful voice of Miss Kim Coslett.  With background in Classic Rock, Pop, and Christian music, Kim brings the “Cowgirl” touch to the sound of the Prairie Rose Rangers.  Married with four children, Kim was born and raised in the Wichita area by a musical family. 

She has performed regionally and locally with several solo albums to her credit.  Writing, and keeping up with her playing skills on guitar and piano is what you’ll find her doing in her free time and trying to imagine life without her music is impossible.  Playing in small intimate settings has always been her favorite of venues. “You can really reach people with music in ways that you can’t sometimes with just words”.  She counts it a blessing to be a part of the Prairie Rose family.
