Looking for ‘day camp’ outings for your youth?  Some place they can be safe, have fun and learn at the same time?  Some place with a great country feel, yet within easy driving  distance of the city?  Some place that has as it’s goal the desire to enrich the lives of Kansas youth?  Look no further than the Prairie Rose Ranch.

We love to have young people come here to learn about  Kansas history and the way things were done in the early days of the cowboy.  We have a beautiful place (take a look at our Facilities) and some great instructors to share their knowledge.  We have many dates available during the week for outings, and will do our best to schedule the best day (or days) for you.

Let us do the work for you.  Generally, groups arrive around 10:30a.m. and the activities begin after a brief orientation.  The children are divided into several ‘teams’ and are rotated through the activities planned.  Lunch time is at noon and activities resume afterward.  Departure is at 2:30.  A minimum of 30 children per session is required.  The cost is $8 per student for a one-day camp and $18 per student for 2-day camps (with  each child bringing their own lunch).  We have several lunch options available; the Prairie Rose providing a complete lunch ($2.50 each) or meat only (hot dogs) - your organization providing sides and drinks ($1.50 each).  There is no charge for staff accompanying  each group (with exception of lunch option).

OR rent our facilities and run your own program.   We have an outdoor amphitheater &  great recreation park where you can play volleyball, softball, kickball or even horseshoes!  We will be glad to customize your visit to your particular needs.  Indoor and outdoor spaces are at your disposal for rent.  Please call for information and prices.
